DMHR Consulting was created in 2011 with small businesses in mind to assist with small business HR Consultant needs within the Phoenix area, that are start-ups or either generate a certain volume in general sales annually. At times, businesses do not have the resources to attain a full-time HR Department or may not need a permanent HR staff member on hand. Often, HR assistance with staffing, managing, or providing the full HR service for start-ups or small businesses, reaches a point within the organization where change is needed because of profit or losses, a complete change in management has occurred, or the product services have changed and/or increased, diminished in volume. When this usually happens, the HR Department is the first department to feel the effects of the shift within the organization. We at DMHR Consulting, are here to provide guidance as a small business HR Consultant along with the assistance, as well as any clarification needed while you as the client worry about growing your business overall. BIO

Deborah’s passion for HR, developed in Europe 15 years ago while working in Italy. Deborah realized that as soon as she experienced the HR culture, that it was something she wanted to do going forward. “The passion for mitigating risk for a line of business and the organization in general, to bridging the gap between an employee and employer, is something that I found rewarding and comforting at the same time.” Deborah has worked within the different sectors of HR. Deborah’s leadership roles include Director of Human Resources, Human Resources Manager, and Human Resources Senior Consultant, along with many other roles within HR. Deborah has facilitated and provided a variety of expert services that included providing organizational leadership, consultation mediation, recruiting, staffing, strategies for productivity, payroll, and providing employee relations support as a small business HR Consultant in the Phoenix area and abroad.

Deborah’s experiences include many years of working with legal and senior leaders to resolve conflicts and provide clarity to policies and procedures for all employees. She has assisted with the training of new employees, writing employee handbooks, and leading projects that dealt with the overall restructuring of departments as well as improvement of safety and work ethics within the workplace. Deborah and her team, who are highly qualified professionals with years of experience, have worked with companies both nationally and internationally with a majority of their assistance provided specifically to small businesses in a variety of industries including Banking, Transportation, Construction, Hospitality, Agriculture, Retail, Advertising, Food, and Health.

Deborah received her BA in Business Management from ASU and her MBA with an emphasis in Human Resources Management from Capella. Deborah has acquired her SHRM-CA and PHR certification and she is currently President of the SHRM Student Chapter at Capella University. Deborah is also a member of her local AZ Chapter SHRMGP, along with being a member of SHRM National, and ABWA (American Business Women’s Association). In her spare time, Deborah loves to travel, spend time with her family, do yoga, and help out within her community when possible.
